My first post to our new blog. In 58 days we will be in the Valley of the Sun ready to soak up the sun, ride in the sunshine, golf, play tennis, bird watch and have a blast - again!!
November is the wettest month on the west coast. The month is full of grey days. It is transition month to winter. November used to affect my outlook, in a negative way. Now I approach November as a transition month not to winter on the west coast but to winter in Arizona.
As we approach the end 2013 we are thankful that our health permits us to continue to enjoy the activities we love. In fact we have recently bought Trek 29er hard-tail mountain bikes to take with us on our Valley of the Sun adventure. Yes, we are also taking our road bikes so no we have more options to feed our cycling desires.
Barry has also added digital SLR photography to his list of hobbies. Bird photography is the main focus. Pictures of birds may well fill the blog.
As in the past I am happy to share our adventure through our blog. Feel free to visit our blog from time to time. You can register with Google+ and have updates forwarded automatically. You will need to jump through a couple of hoops to do this but that is up to you. Better still, if you have access to someone under 20, ask them to help you do this ;-)
