As you might have guessed I have been spending a fair bit of time photographing the wonderful birds that we find in the Valley of the Sun. Herons are very numerous here. On any given day at the Gilbert Water Ranch we can see Great Blue, Black-crowned Night and Green Herons. In addition we can see Great and Snowy Egrets which are part of the greater Heron Family. I thought that I would post a photo tribute to some of these wonderful birds. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we did.
